🌊Streams of Sexuality in Human Design

The streams of sexuality are inextricably linked to the pleasure center (solar plexus or emotional center). There is a separate blog post on the lust gates in the various circuits.

For the sake of completeness, I want to mention that there is another connection between the sacral and solar plexus, the so-called channel of sexuality (59/6). However, the name of this connection can be misleading, because it is purely about reproduction (the genetic imperative), i.e., sex to produce offspring and avoid extinction. People with the defined channel 59/6 have the talent to easily establish connections and intimacy with others, which can be very beneficial in private and business environments, and of course also in terms of sexual relationships and producing offspring. As you can see above, the streams and gates within these streams are assigned to either "skin," "sound," or "experience." This means that people who have gates or channels — a channel is formed by two opposing gates — in these streams, or who form these channels with their partners in a composite chart, are particularly receptive to certain stimuli. For example, you can "caress" "skin" people into bed, "talk" "sound" people into bed, or find it much easier to get these people in the mood for sex if these needs are considered. Especially when it comes to sex, a Human Design chart makes it very easy to see which preferences are more pronounced in your partner. (Sexual) partners can then see in their charts that different (sexual) desires are present from birth and want to be lived out. This does not mean that people with certain preferences cannot experience other kinds of sexuality, but they will probably experience sex in a much more natural and uncomplicated way if these preferences are considered.
